I've been there a million times but it always pulls me back.
The majestic beauty of the stags, antlers looming out of the dark into the path of my headlights.
Buying second hand books for 40p each in the little shop that is crowded with soaps, jams and walking equipment.
Going at sunset and running around taking pictures of the fields in the dusk light.
The ominous swampy pond, slouching quietly under a carpet of green algae.
Finding weird things like ribbons tied to tree branches, a bike helmet, children's clothes, a spoon, clumps of fur, a rusty iron spring.
Going at 5 O'clock when it is empty and the rain is falling down over the sunshine giving the woods a sepia wash.
Walking to the boarded up cabin and trying to creep ourselves out.
I am addicted to this place at the moment.

Wow, looks like such a peaceful place! I'd love to get lost in that cottage! xoxoxoxo
